So my career goals consist a few things as of now, I really hope to do well in the coming few terms at school. I'd like to have a good GPA through-out college going into University. After my schooling I hope to get into a good firm, or workplace as a Chartered Accountant, that has been my goal ever since I took my first accounting course in grade 11. My teacher saw that I excelled and interested me in some various accounting careers.
I hope I can continue to achieve good accounting marks and plan on doing so by paying attention, attending class, and studying hard when the time comes.
Other then accounting, there is a slice of me that would love to make it as a musician; god knows how unlikely that would be. Being paid to play music sounds great, but being paid a little bit and struggling on the road just won't cut it for me. If I'm going to make it as a musician I'm going to need to be making a lot of money. That's just a distant dream.
My career goals reflect my life right now; I am a full time student at Sheridan taking accounting. And I have been playing in a band for seven years. I actually enjoy accounting, seems hard to believe but it is true. This will be my home one day.
