Growing up; going through school, it becomes very often that you hear teachers and professors telling you to "set goals to excel!" To be honest, I've never been one to "set goals for my future" but if we're on the topic I guess I could think of some.
For one, I guess every college students goal is to do well in school; I for one know I have it in me to achieve great marks, I need to just work on my laziness a little bit. My paying attention in class has improved from last semester, that's for sure, but I'm probably going
to need to start doing homework a little more to see any improvement.
Since this is a "personal goals" posting I figure I should stray away from school a little bit. My life right now of course probably isn't the most exciting thing. I live in a basement with two of my buddies and we all work at the same place. (That's a personal goal in itself *get a better job!*)
I'm in a band; so I guess that's exciting.
We've been together for probably 7 years now and lately been taking things a little slow... there's no fun in that. If anything I hope we can pick some more shows for the summer or perhaps start recording a new cd. That would be exciting. But, in order to record a cd, you need songs; theres a goal right there, start writing new material!
